This was commissioned by wife, who at the time was just my girlfriend. This is of her and her brother and sister. When they were children, someone drew a similar photo of them in the same order. My wife wanted me to recreate it with them all grown up. This was a gift for her mother and father.

Uncle Johnny

This was not a commission, but a gift for my lovely and precious grandmother. This is of my uncle Johnny, who was the youngest boy of ten children. He was killed in 1989 in a car accident. As soon as my grandmother unwrapped it she cried.

Charity commissioned me to draw a portrait of her for her birthday as a gift to herself. She gave me the liberty to choose the photograph of her and this one stuck out to me immediately. She was wearing the Africa earrings and this concept came directly to me.
